As of Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the Clean Truck Check compliant VIN list that is provided by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) will be used to verify the compliance status of trucks prior to entry at these locations. To avoid any disruptions, please ensure that your fleet is fully compliant with Clean Truck Check by following the steps below: 

• Report vehicles in the Clean Truck Check database (CTC-VIS).
• Ensure the annual compliance fee is paid by the deadline noted in your CTC-VIS account for each vehicle.

Emissions compliance testing deadlines begin January 1, 2025. You may test up to 90 days prior to the vehicle’s testing deadline to provide time for any necessary repairs. 

Implementation using 5-Day Pass Option 

For vehicles denied access due to non-compliance, once they have reported their applicable vehicle(s) and paid the annual compliance fee by the deadline, vehicle owners will have the option to apply for a 5-day pass, allowing temporary access while the vehicle is being reported in the system and compliance fees are processed.

Payment Processing Times 

• Credit or Debit Card Payments: Processed within 1-2 business days. 
• eChecks: Can take up to 7 business days.
